I created the first Metal band of Cameroon during my residency at the Art Bakkery - Douala,, Cameroon. part of the Elopement exchange with Hotel Maria Kapel - Hoorn
The name of the band Ngos'a Bedimo means "ghost music" in the traditional Cameroonian language. A firm believe in ghost and witchcraft is present in Cameroon.

On the picture: a fan with T-Shirt and the anoucement poster (the words "Metal Rock" instead of just "Metal" was needed to make it clear that is was about a music concert, almost all people didn't understand the term "Metal" as a music genre)
Mikite (live) by Ngos'a Bedimo
The title of the song "Mikite" refers to a story which Raska the singer of the band told to me about a ghost called "mikite" who is unmeasurable long, moves slowly and protects the village. If you meet this ghost you have to shout the names of your ancestors to protect youself and the ghost will very slowly move away.
50 t-shirts were printed with the band logo, posters where spread out in the city.
Band:
Ras Kamensy
Jackson Berry
Manga Jerry
Dikongue Drums
on the Metal-Jew blog there's a article about a metal scene in Botswana and a posted email from me to the author of the blog (Dr Keith Daniel Kahn-Harris)
